Dr Daniel Yon

Goldsmiths, University of London

I am a Lecturer in Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London. Before that I was a researcher funded by the Leverhulme Trust (2017-19) and PhD student funded by the ESRC (2014-17) at Birkbeck, University of London, where I remain an Honorary Research Fellow. Research in our lab uses a combination of techniques from experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience to study how our brains build models of ourselves and the world around us, and how these models shape our perceptions, actions and decisions.

I am lucky to answer these questions with an exceptional set of students, colleagues and collaborators, and on this website you can see examples of our work. If you are interested in learning more about what we do, working with us or joining the group for a PhD, postdoc or research placement please feel free to get in touch.
